Get ready for a unique brand of hype as DG the Artist, the competitive-Rubik's-Cube-solver-turned-rapper, takes the stage to deliver a high-energy experience that will leave the crowd buzzing with excitement. Performing all his greatest tracks from his discography - from laidback introspective cuts like "Storms At Night" to energetic bangers like "SKATE" - as well as some exclusive early-listens of some yet-to-be-released tracks, DG's first show in the great city of Minneapolis is set to be an unforgettable experience!
DG THE ARTIST
DG the Artist is a Jersey-born, DC-based rapper and hyperpop artist with a deep passion for his craft. DG's raw energy and emotion is at the center of every track, and his ability to navigate many different genres sets him apart from his contemporaries. On "Hello World," DG's freshman album released in 2022, he masterfully executes both introspective tracks covering topics from his struggles with OCD to his outlook on the world around him, as well as high-energy tracks that put his positive attitude and love of life at the forefront. In March 2023, DG released his sophomore album "Ego Death," a cohesive concept album that takes his music to the next level. Since "Ego Death," DG has been pouring his energy into lighting up stages with his contagious positive vibe, while simultaneously dropping some fan-favorite singles like "FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR BOAT" and "SKATE."
Prior to releasing music, DG gained popularity in the competitive Rubik's Cube solving community with his YouTube channel, DGCubes. DG was also the US National Champion in the Pyraminx event in 2018 and is still an active competitor. The North American Rubik's Cube Championship is taking place at the Minneapolis Convention Center this July 18-21, 2024.
