Hailing from Minnesota’s northwoods, Sam Miltich and his gypsy jazz-meets-traditional swing band have been captivating audiences and winning fans across the country and around the world. In five years and four albums, Sam has evolved from a student of Django Reinhardt and the gypsy jazz world to a true jazz innovator – melding his diverse influences into a unique and vibrant musical experience. With Sam on lead guitar, his father, Matthew Miltich on upright bass, and Mark Kreitzer on rhythm guitar the group often features the talents of soloists including Don Vidal (tenor sax), Tom Schaefer (violin), Tony Balluff (clarinet) and Dave Karr (tenor sax).
