The Parlour Suite
The Parlour Suite is a Minneapolis folk rock trio in the vain of The Mamas and the Papas, who they list as one of their major influences. They have a self released album called "Rainmaker" which includes the catchy sweet sounds of "Navy Queen".
Minnepaolis's Metro Mag had this to say about the band, "The voices of husband-and-wife team Joel (guitar) and Inga (piano) Roberts and their close friend Leah Nelson (tambourine) melt together like butter as they harmonize, and whether it’s Joel’s tuneful hangdog rasp or Inga’s Dolly Parton-inspired cowgirl holler leading the way, each song’s knee-slapping accessibility is instantly apparent.
