The Poor Nobodys

The Poor Nobodys

A collaboration of artists and musicians, The Poor Nobodys are a 7-piece outfit from Minneapolis. After handcrafting songs in the Twin Cities for over three years, they finally recorded their self-titled EP last May and just finished recording their first full-length album, planning to release it this summer. Their sound fuses the familiar with the peculiar, where unconventional melodies weave their way through rustic roots.

"Epic, yet grounded largely in folk and classical territories, The Poor Nobodys self-titled EP is a varied and multi-dimensional take on the spaghetti-western soundtrack genre as typified by Ennio Morricone - combining this, elements of Chopin, and a strong Americana base yields distinct (and decidedly good) results." -- Sobhi Abdul-Rakhman, Sputnik Music

"Rich, fabulous boho sounds." - TC Daily Planet

"Classy local 7-piece band The Poor Nobodys... glide effortlessly between spaghetti western type instrumentals through Americana and old country waltzes, with occasional prog rock overtones." -  Cedar Cultural Center
