So much so, that many Americans have asked the question, will we ever find common ground in our nation?  But The Bill Mike Band, which is comprised of both liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans, proves that both belief systems can co-exist when the energy is put forth to accept and learn about the other, demonstrated by the release of their sophomore effort Truce.

Bill Mike (William Michel) is BMB's spokesperson and wrote the themes and messages of Truce over the course of two years as an idealistic but earnest proclamation to find common ground with those you disagree with. Truce encourages the listener to discover a shared humanity with their adversaries, realizing all the while that the reality of this challenge is enormous unto itself. Impassioned, non-partisan manifestos like "Make Peace" and "Truce" offer the listener a non-intrusive blueprint of how a small group of diverse Americans can unify and collaborate with each other. In turn, BMB have used their positive musical experiences to go within the trenches of their immediate families, work places and communities to help, in some small way, "form a more perfect union."

This pioneering experimental rock power trio hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota and is fronted by guitarist and guitar pedal scientist, Bill Mike (Haley Bonar, MC Carnage). Joining him on Truce are long-time band mates and creative forces, bassist Chris Morrissey (Ben Kweller, Wishbook) and drummer Steve Goold (Jeremy Sanoski Band).  BMB pride themselves on their genre less approach to gigging with their arsenal of multi-genre music, winning over audiences at indie rock clubs, jam band festivals, experimental art houses, and hip-hop festivals. All three members are very active as session players, but have always treated BMB as the home where memorable melody, global grooves, experimental sounds, positive-driven messages and quality songwriting should always reign. Come check out The Bill Mike Band family, and join the party!
