Fun at The Cedar

Whew!

Anyone who made it down to Kimya Dawson last night knows
that it was a wild night! I was really glad to see so many new faces at
The Cedar (especially so many kids and families).

It's possible that I had too much fun, and I was only working! I hope everyone else did too.

As
we near the end of the week here, you may need to take a minute to kick
back, relax, and watch a funny video. And you don't even need to leave
this site! Just head over to the "videos" page and check out our new
video "Double is Better." You may recognize a face or two...

The
reason for this hilarity and fun, is that during this month the
McKnight Foundation is matching all donations!!!!! This means your
contributions to The Cedar will count for twice as much during April.

If
you are poking around the site or at a show, you may see a big red
thermometer that is tracking our progess. We are doing pretty
well, but we still need your help!

Speaking of fun, The Cedar has
A LOT of really fun shows coming up. Babylon Circus this coming Sunday
night (April 20), Hamell on Trial (April 24), the 416 Club, Geoff
Muldaur with Charlie Parr, Mirah and Spectratone International, Laura
Viers, the list just goes on!
