Boiled in LeadIn the midst of their 25th year of performing their unique blend of Celtic rock'n'reel, Boiled In Lead have retained a freshness and vitality that escapes far younger bands. The current BiL lineup of Todd Menton (vocals / guitar / mandolin / bodhran / whistle), Drew Miller (bass), Dean Magraw (guitar), David Stenshoel (fiddle) and Robin "Adnan" Anders (drums / percussion) features uniformly great musicians who each bring a lifetime of far-flung musical exploration to the Boil.

From their first concert at Goofy's Upper Deck, through annual First Avenue Mainroom appearances on St. Patrick's Day, BiL have always charted their own path between beauty and ugliness, between rock and folk, between silence and noise. The five players improvise freely yet stay in sync, playing a vital mix of original and traditional material that sounds fresh and highly identifiable. Over the years, BiL and the individual musicians have won over 20 Minnesota Music Awards, and toured throughout the US and in Europe.
