Kid Dakota and Eliza Blue with Adam Levy
An intimate evening with singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Kid Dakota and Eliza Blue, with band and special guest Adam Levy. Kid Dakota, aka Darren Jackson, recently moved from Minneapolis back to the remote rural town in South Dakota where he grew up. Before he left, however, he recorded much of his new album Listen to the Crows as They Take Flight. With contributions from lots of musical friends including Eliza Blue, Dosh and Haley Bonar, Kid Dakota has now released the completed album on Graveface Records. “Gorgeous…a similar beauty to James Blake’s current hit.” – nme
“There’s a world of mystery in the mesmerizing voice of this Irishman...” – People Magazine
Irish indie singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow earned many accolades for his debut album Early in the Morning, and several of the songs from the album went on to be featured on hit TV series Chuck, Parenthood, and Grey’s Anatomy. After a handful of solo dates earlier this year, James is now making his first headlining tour of the USA, this time with a five-piece backing band. “Playing on my own right now is beautiful because it allows me to connect on a very primitive level,” says James, “but I look forward to being surrounded with friends on stage to share this with me.”
