The fourth annual Somali Entertainment Awards, a celebration of the best movies, sports, music and arts of the year, as voted by the SEA Family board.
Fundraiser for Somali Youth Programs
A fundraising event to support the Somali Education and Social Advocacy group. Somali Education and Social Advocacy has been engaging the Somali American youth of Cedar Riverside in positive activities including annual basketball and soccer tournaments, monthly workshops with youth and elders in order to bridge the generational, cultural and language gaps and to foster understanding and mentoring opportunities, and arts events at institutions such as Cedar Cultural Center so youth can learn about various cultures and experience the arts.
