The Owls are back, celebrating the Oct 23 release of their long-awaited second album, the full-length Daughters and Suns, with help from ELK and other special guest animals. Apart from a few compilations, The Owls haven't seen a release since
2004's "Our Hopes and Dreams" mini LP, which garnered enthusiastic critical praise, drawing comparisons to the likes
of the Velvet Underground, the Mamas and Papas, and Belle and Sebastian, and landing The Owls on multiple Year-End-Best lists.
