Open Stage with host Curtis and Loretta

Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - 5:00pm

Open Stage with hosts Curtis and Loretta. Start the evening with a few songs from Curtis and Loretta, heartfelt and outstanding musicians who have been long-time hosts and organizers of the Cedar's Open Stage series. Then, take advantage of this great opportunity to put yourself on the
Cedar stage, perform two or three songs, and enjoy the top-quality
sound!

Back when they were starting out, Curtis & Loretta played at plenty of Open stages, and they're firm believers in the importance of getting that very valuable stage time, in order to hone one's performance skills. Loretta says, "You can play in your living room every night, but it's just not the same as getting up onstage, with bright lights and microphones in your face. Doing it is the only way to get comfortable up there!"

The Cedar Open Stage offers optional critiques of the participants by the host following the last performer. The supportive environment always attracts an interesting and talented assortment of participants. All are welcome, performers and audience members. Please support this season's sponsors MBOTMA, (Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association), Willie's American Guitars and Hoffman Guitars, who through their generosity enable this event to be offered for FREE!
