Saturday, February 10, 2007 - 5:30pm
$12.00

Traditional Cajun dance music, Minnesota-style, and a once-a-year opportunity to jump in and celebrate Mardi Gras, with special decorations and music that pulls out all the stops!
The New Riverside Ramblers, featuring Eric Mohring, Karen Kleinspehn, Bob Nelson, Paul Loughridge and Doug Lohman, bring high-energy traditional Cajun dance music from the prairies and bayous of south Louisiana up-river to the Twin Cities. They blend influences from many different cultures and communities, and their repertoire includes two-steps, waltzes and blues. Their CD Saute la BarriƩre (Jump the Fence) is the 2004 Winner of the Cajun French Music Association's "Prix Dehors de Nous" for the best Cajun CD released by a band from outside Louisiana. Come to dance, or just to listen and soak up the atmosphere. No advance tickets, buy at the door.
