Modern Guitarist: A musician who abides by a genre-less and boundary-less agenda. A free-willed improviser who listens well but isn’t afraid to act or instigate new ideas. A musician void of competition. A musician open to communal collaboration. A modern guitarist is an explorer of electronic technology past and present. A modern guitarist is a student of global melodies and rhythms. (Mike Michel aka Bill Mike: Curator of The Modern Guitar Festival)

Huddled within the Cedar will be some of Minnesota's finest guitarists, creating their unearthly sounds and memorable melody from six little strings. Featured in the lobby of The Cedar will be some of Minnesota's finest independent music manufactures as well! This will be a diverse all ages concert. Thanks for supporting Minnesota music.
