After seven years this local acoustic quartet is having their 'Last  Waltz' at The Cedar.  In their time together, Michael Rossetto (banjo/founder), Nicholas Lemme (mandolin), Ethan Sutton (cello) and Paul Fonfara (clarinet) have garnered two MN Music Awards and the acclaim of local critics and fans.  In 2005 when MPR launched The  Current, SWSCo was invited to be the first in-studio band by DJ Mark  Wheat.  During their time together they have written two film scores (The Red Balloon, Grass), performed with modern dancers - The Live Action Set and performed with the 40 person choir, MN Choral  Artists, among others.  Tonight they are celebrating their fourth and final recording; a mix of progressive acoustic music and old world charm that features the core quartet, a stark contrast to  2008’s Lull and Clatter which had 17 local musicians as guest performers.   Come celebrate with the Spaghetti boys as they play  from their new release and back catalog with the help of some old friends.

Tickets are on sale now from the Cedar Ticketline (612-338-2674 ext 2), from a hard-working Cedar volunteer in the front lobby during shows, from Cedar outlets (Electric Fetus, Irish on Grand, Homestead Pickin' Parlor, and Depth of Field), and online at Ticketweb.
