Two nights of old-timey music and mayhem! Tonight the Pert' Near lads will be hosting the Hackensaw Boys. And on Friday night, it's Portland-based Foghorn Trio back-to-back with Pert' Near Stringband. Two nights means twice as much fun.

Special Ticket Deal: Buy tickets to both shows from The Cedar, or using this link only online at Ticketweb, and save! Gain entry on both nights for only $20 in advance, or $24 day of show.

Tickets are on sale now from the Cedar Ticketline (612-338-2674 ext 2), from hard-working Cedar volunteers in the front lobby during shows, from Cedar outlets (Electric Fetus and Depth of Field), and online at Ticketweb.

All Cedar shows are all ages. Students with ID may gain discounted admission for tickets purchased at the door.

Hackensaw Boys
"One never doubts the Hackensaw Boys are giving you everything they have in them. It's refreshing in a world of half measures and empty talk. They have their sights on the right things and it always comes through in their music." - Dennis Cook (Jambase) There...

The Hackensaw Boys are gonna blow Pert Near outta the water, just like they did to Trampled at the Cabooze. Thanks for bringing them back!!

While I agree the Hackensaw Boys are a great band and will blow lots of people away I have to assume you've never seen Pert Near put on a show because they are equally impressive and will also bring down the house!  This is going to be a phenomenal weekend at the cedar - and we owe its existence in large part to Pert Near and the great collaborative vibe of the string band scene.
