Take a ride with Cadillac Sky, cruising off into the stratosphere after their sold out tour Fall 2010 as support for Mumford and Sons.

"The classic Appalachian string-band format (banjo, mandolin, fiddle, acoustic bass, acoustic guitar and/or dobro) is usually associated with bluegrass and old-time country, but it can do a lot more. It has been used in jazz, rockabilly and modern country and more recently by such groups as Punch Brothers, King Wilkie and Cadillac Sky for the surprising purpose of making art-rock. And Cadillac Sky's new album, Letters in the Deep is the greatest achievement yet of this unlikely trend." (Washington Post)

'...the disc's bluegrass-infused rock 'n' roll manages to incorporate delicate folk tendencies and the boisterousness of an old-fashioned tent revival. You can feel the honesty in the band's music, especially live." (NPR music)

Tickets are NOT on sale now from the Cedar Ticketline (612-338-2674 ext 2), from hard-working Cedar volunteers in the front lobby during shows, from Cedar outlets (Electric Fetus, Irish on Grand, Homestead Pickin' Parlor, and Depth of Field), and online at Ticketweb.

All Cedar shows are all ages. Students with ID may gain discounted admission for tickets purchased at the door.
