The Cedar and Kilimanjaro Entertainment present Congolese singer Samba Mapangala of legendary Orchestra Virunga. Timeless music which combines rumba and soukous from Congo and earthier Kenyan elements, with exuberant results! Samba will be performing with his 6-piece band Orchestra Virunga and a pair of dancers, and will be showcasing songs from his hot new album, Maisha Ni Matamu (Life Is Sweet), as well as revisiting some of the classics.

Congolese vocalist and band leader Samba Mapangala took the East African music scene by storm when he formed the Orchestra Virunga in 1981. Named after a volcanic mountain range in central Africa, Virunga proved to be one of East Africa's most popular groups...
