In partnership with the Jerome Foundation, The Cedar has commissioned seven local artists to compose, practice, and perform new music pieces in collaboration with other local musicians. This project drives The Cedar's vision to support emerging artists.

MARC ANDERSON, a multi-percussionist and composer  who leads the ensemble Speaking In Tongues, will perform his new ambient project on electronics, loops, and percussion in collaboration with Dirk Freymuth on electric guitar, Enrique Toussaint on bass, and Nirmala Rajesaker on voice and vina. The project includes deep grooves, fragmentary melodies, sub-sonic funky bass lines, random phenomena, and layers in no discernible form but pleasingly familiar all the same.

All Cedar shows are all ages. Tickets available at the door, or Ticketweb only. Seated show.
