Target Family Series at The Cedar presents Tadpole Family Dance with Will Hale

Saturday, October 10, 2009 - 12:00pm
10:30am

Are you ready to metamorphosize! Join Will Hale and The Tadpole Parade Band as you dance and grow with music to metamorphosize your life. Be part of the official launch of the first in a series of homegrown family dance celebrations at The Cedar. A real all ages concert that will prove no one ever has to outgrow fun.

Jam with Will Hale on the muti-generational hit Rock Paper Scissors, see Scott Dercks play amazing guitar solos behind his head on Make Me Laugh a rocking blues song co-written with kids, dance to the funky grooves of Big Feelings, yell with your outside voice inside for the ultimate jumping song Perfect World, learn the tongue twister drum song Adalena Madalena, and mellow out with tunes like Dance and Brokedown Palace.

Will’s kid tested, parent approved concerts create a lively atmosphere filled with plenty of audience participation, excitement and energy. Be prepared to crank up the volume on your air guitar and strum along. This will not be like watching a movie in a theater. You will be encouraged to get up out of your seat and dance anytime you want. Imagine hundreds of little feet jumping up in the air and rarely touching the ground.

Tadpole Parade BandKids are the rock stars when they clap, dance and sing with the Tadpole Parade Band. To amplify the fun we suggest you come dressed like a rock star! You might see spiked colored hair, wacky glasses, feather boas, face paintings, bandanas and tattoos.

The Target Family Series at The Cedar is proud to be a home for the Twin Cities thriving children’s music scene. The Tadpole Family Dance series will continue monthly every second Saturday. Tickets are also now available for November 14th and December 12th
Stay tuned, a ton of fun surprises are yet to be revealed.
