"It is 11 a.m. on a -5 degree Saturday morning. Inside the Cedar Cultural Center, little girls and boys are twirling and dancing, small arms and legs akimbo and flailing around the crowded room. Parents are smiling at each other. This morning Adam Levy, dressed in a goofy white jumpsuit and black top hat, is the ecstatic pied piper leading the merry band -- Bunny Clogs are rocking the house in celebration of the release of their first CD entitled More! More! More!" (Michelle Leon, City Pages 1/26/09)
The Monkey Dance: All the Kids Are Doin’ It is the first foray into kids music by The Sweet Colleens, but the genre is clearly a natural fit for these good-natured denizens of the local roots music world. The songs included on the new CD are aimed at listeners age 2 to 9; however, in the tradition of kids records by artists such as Dan Zanes and Greg Brown, the CD has plenty of appeal for parents and older siblings.

"Bill Harley has the uncanny ability to reaffirm life for listeners, be they five or fifty. Humor, empathy, intelligence and reality all radiate from his work and from him." - Penguin Books
For six years now, a group of top local musicians have performed a popular annual tribute to the late, great George Harrison. This time, the musicians are getting together in a family-tailored version of the show.

Gustafer Yellowgold concerts are a unique blend of live music and moving image. The minimally animated illustrations are accompanied by illustrator/songwriter Morgan Taylor’s catchy and original story-songs for a truly different multimedia experience that is entrancing children, teens and adults alike. Gustafer is a friendly creature who came to Earth from the sun and has an unusual magnetism for making friends with some of Earth's odder creatures. His best friend is Forrest Applecrumbie, the flightless Pterodactyl. Gustafer and Forrest built a small cottage-style home on the edge of an uncharted wooded area in Minnesota.
There's no pandering to the little ones on Minneapolis singer/songwriter Adam Levy's children's album. He offers funk, jazz, rock and hip-hop songs about lima beans, potatoes and road trips. Terrific, tasty stuff for the entire family. (Pick Six, Jon Bream, Minneapolis Star Tribune 01/08/09)
Bunny Clogs is Honeydogs Singer-Songwriter Adam Levy's first solo children's music project. Like Shel Silverstein meets Prince and The Beatles, the first recording by Bunny Clogs More! More! More! is clever, surreal, danceable fun for the whole family. Local themes keep everyone entertained.
Ralph's
WorldNEW! LOWER PRICES FOR CHILDREN! When most rockers are crawling out of bed, Chicago hookmeister Ralph Covert is packing houses with adoring toddlers and their beguiled parents. As the master blaster of Ralph's World, Covert has become a Disney Channel star and the hippest kids act since Soupy Sales. His Beatlesque quartet delivers more great pop tunes than most First Avenue or Fine Line sets, and nearly as much humor as an Acme Comedy stand-up act. Some childless couples even sneak into shows alone, or borrow a little person for the day. (Tom Surowicz, The Big Gigs, Minneapolis Star Tribune)
Five months is like an eternity in the life of a four year old. That's why The Cedar is bringing back childrens music star Ralph Covert, who rocked the younger set in a couple of highly energized, pure fun shows back in September. Perma-grin on his face,lime-green Chuck Taylors on his feet—even at the Grammies! —his traveling circus of catchiness known as Ralph’s World is equally loved by cool-seeking parents as it is by children, fortunate to be living in an era where their music both rocks and respects their intelligence and curiosity.
