GOOD SUPPLY OF TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR TODAY! Justin Roberts enters his second decade as one of the most recognized and accomplished musicians in the Children’s genre with his sixth and latest album, “Pop Fly,” builds on Justin’s previous successes by continuing to offer catchy, contemporary hooks and his unique brand of songwriting.

To explain things in simple terms, Justin Roberts was born a rock star. After enduring a seemingly endless era of mostly required education, which culminated in a graduate degree from the University of Chicago, Justin found himself back where it all began…a rock star amongst pre-schoolers. As a pre-school teacher, Justin found his songwriting gravitate towards inspiring the honesty of these toothless tikes. This honesty was rewarded when Justin created and recorded his first album geared towards kids, “Great Big Sun.” The album, which was originally just distributed to some family and friends, gained acclaim from Sesame Street Magazine when they recognized it as “The Best Music Gift of the Year.” Flattered and encouraged by the positive response, Justin began writing his next album, ultimately releasing “Yellow Bus” in 2001. “Yellow Bus” received a great amount of adulation from the masses and critics alike earning Justin the first of his four Gold Stars from Parents’ Choice. So then Justin wrote and recorded “Not Naptime” and wouldn’t you know it, people who give out awards said some really nice things about that album, too. And then they and their award-giving friends fell in love with “Way Out.” And then enough people liked “Meltdown” that Justin and the Not Ready for Naptime players woke up in August 2006 on the TODAY Show.

These days Justin enjoys a rigorous tour schedule by playing to sold out, high energy crowds from coast to coast. Justin has transitioned his concerts from smaller local shows in the Chicagoland are to some of the more revered venues in the country, like Ravinia, Millenium Park and the Old Town School of Music in Chicago, Symphony Space in New York, and The Getty Center in Los Angeles, World Café Live in Philadelphia, and successful festivals like, The Iowa State Fair, Bumbershoot, and Lollapalooza. Many people have said some very nice things about Justin and his music. Please hold your applause until all compliments have been read. Thank you.
