The Lovell Sisters feature the tight harmonies of The Lovell Sisters with an innovative fusion of country, folk, and contemporary acoustic music. This five-piece band based in Calhoun, GA. The band won NPR's "Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor" National Teen Talent Competition 2005 and was featured on TBS Storyline's "Backstage Pass". May 2006, Rebecca became the youngest contestant and first female to win the MerleFest International Mandolin Competition. The Lovell Sisters had a great year touring in 2006 with nearly 100 appearances in over 21 states.

The Lovell Sister debut album, WHEN FOREVER ROLLS AROUND, was released late '05. The project was engineered in Nashville by co-producer, Brent Truitt, who has played mandolin with the Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, and Alison Krauss.




Jessica (21), Megan (17), and Rebecca (16) began lessons in classical violin and piano at age five. The sisters sang as a trio for church and in the church choir. All three were members of string quartets and youth symphonies and, at fifteen, Jessica was co-principle of the second violin section in the SAU Symphony Orchestra.

Nearly three years ago, The Lovell Sisters strayed from their classical roots to pursue the instrumentation and improvisation of traditional music. Jerry Douglas' Slide Rule was the first Americana album they heard, inspiring Megan to play the resophonic guitar. The Lovell Sisters now bring youthful vigor and a wide variety of musical influences to their live performances.
