Some of the best moments from performances recorded over the past sixteen years at the Cedar are now being released on a series of CDs, with all proceeds benefiting the Cedar.

A testimony to the Cedar's reputation is the impressive list of artists who have agreed to donate their tracks for the first CD in the series, Live at the Cedar: Visionaries, which features innovators and artists of great influence in their respective musical genres.

Artists include: Baaba Maal, Mari Boine, Cesaria Evora, Gillian Welch, Doc Watson, Dave Van Ronk, La Bottine Souriante, Liam O'Flynn and Arty McGlynn, Martin Sexton, Loudon Wainwright III, Koerner, Ray and Glover, Greg Brown, Ani DiFranco (from her very first concert at the Cedar in 1993!), Ali Farka Touré, and Bill Frisell.
