Open The Cedar on Labor Day to let Mount Eerie in
This project is closed as of 5pm Wednesday, August 31st. Thanks so much to all who donated. You can still purchase tickets to the September 4th, 2011 show here or at the door. If you have any questions about this project, email adorn@thecedar.org.
The show is on! Thanks to all of you, we raised enough money to give the Mount Eerie show a green light. You can still purchase advance tickets (and get posters, LPs, downloads, and other great stuff) by donating here. Just click the "support this project" link above. Thanks for your participation!
The Cedar has historically been closed on Labor Day. This year, we want to open our doors to present Mount Eerie (aka Phil Elverum aka The Microphones) with Nicholas Krgovich and Andrew Broder. This is a special opportunity since Elvrum hasn't played in the Twin Cities for two years, and we've never before hosted him at The Cedar. However, we need to ensure that opening our doors on Labor Day is worth this concert, so we need 100 people to commit to coming by donating to the project at any of the specified levels. If we are able to raise $1,200 from about 100 people by August 22nd, the Cedar will open, and the show will go on!

How Cedar Seeder works: Music and art patrons like you pledge money to support specific projects. If we are able to raise the required amount by the due date, we charge your credit card, the project happens, and you receive the gifts for your level of giving. If we don't raise the required amount by the due date, the project doesn't happen and your credit card is not charged. You can pledge by clicking "support this project" and logging in using your facebook account or by creating a username and password. Cedar Seeder is a safe and secure site.
