Roma di Luna
Roma di Luna
In 2011, the members of Roma di Luna disbanded unexpectedly to pursue other creative outlets, most notably, POLIÇA, Kill The Vultures, Romantica, FRAEA, and numerous other projects. This April of 2017, Roma di Luna will reunite to play a show at The Cedar Cultural Center (their home court venue) for a night of music and community. Called by the urgency of the times, the band members felt compelled to use their resources as artists to help protect and provide for those in vulnerable communities (Roma di Luna will donate all of the money it earns from the show to Indigenous Peoples Task Force and, and the stars aligned for the full band roster* to reunite for their first show in six years. Roma di Luna will play songs that span their catalog from some of their earliest, old-timey folk inspirations, to their last release which featured hints of vintage R&B, and the signature ghostly, ethereal songs that provide gorgeous backdrops to Channy Leaneagh's haunting voice. The band has no other plans to perform at this point, so please join us for a special night of music and reunion. Also playing is former AIM-member and poet, TiWakan, along with other very special guests.

*Roma di Luna is: Channy Leaneagh - vocals; Alexei Moon Casselle - vocals, guitar; James Everest - bass;Ben Durant - guitar; Ryan Lovan - drums; Jessie Daley - vocals; Michael Rossetto - banjo
