StoLyette
StoLyette
StoLyette is Ben Clark, Mitch Miller, Ryan Mach and Irene Ruderman Clark. StoLyette began as a project reworking Russian folk songs using only bass and vocals. The original compositions expanded to incorporate giga-delay pedals and a pitch shifter to fill out the material by creating dense harmonies, melodies, and beats over the beautifully unique and powerful Russian vocals while still adhering to their original credo of creating all the music with only bass, drums and vocals at the time of performance without further augmentation with previously recorded tracks. In particular, these dynamic soundscapes mixed with an expressive vocal approach presented in Russian provide the listener room to interpret and reconstruct the meaning of each composition to reflect more personally the listener’s own experience and state.
Har-di-Har
Har-di-Har
Har-di-Har is Julie and Andrew Thoreen. They write and perform collage-oriented, orchestral art pop. Based in Minneapolis, the duo has made music together since 2012. Riding the line of the avant-garde music and performative art genres, their live performance invites the audience in as a familial witness to the vivid, awkward and vulnerable life of their own intimate relationship through performance on stage. Their debut full-length album, we will will you, was released on 9.29.17.
Under Violet
Under Violet to open, whose members are comprised of folks from Web of Sunsets and Invisible Boy, led by Sara Bischoff of Web of Sunsets.
Tekk Nikk
Tekk Nikk
Tekk Nikk is Nikki Pfeifer, a Minneapolis electronic musician, dj and label co-owner of Pytch Records. Pfeifer started performing under the name Tekk Nikk this past summer 2017 having one of her debut performances opening for Golden Donna at CGW's summer tour kickoff at a super secret warehouse spot. She has been more commonly seen performing as Devata Daun but you'll definitely be seeing more Tekk Nikk hardware live PA, demonstrating her style on minimal techno, breakbeats and acid
Lynn Sabin Lunny
Lynn grew up in Southern Minnesota. In 2006, she moved to Philadelphia to work as a designer for Free People Clothing. There she discovered her love for circus at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. Lynn has since produced, choreographed, and performed in shows throughout the east coast on silks, static trapeze and more. In 2014 she moved back to Minnesota with her family, and now works as an instructor at Circus Juventas.
