Grammy Award winning violinist, singer, actor, and composer, Lisa Gutkin comes to The Cedar to perform selections from her score of the Tony Award winning, Broadway hit, Indecent. She’ll play those and other tunes, as well, joined by Pat O’Keefe and Spencer Chandler.
Singer-songwriters Deb Talan & Steve Tannen began writing together the night they met, and soon formed indie band The Weepies. On the strength of their simple yet insightful songwriting and distinctive harmonies, they’ve released five records over seven years, while getting married and having three children along the way. Join them for a special holiday acoustic show at The Cedar.
Since he first appeared on the scene in the early ’90s, Williams has defined the term independent artist. Keller built his reputation initially on his engaging live performances, no two of which are ever alike. Through Keller’s acoustic guitar and sample-based approach, the music often leans toward a hybrid of alternative folk and groovy electronica, a genre Keller jokingly calls “acoustic dance music.”
