ABOUT THIS SHOW

Solidarity has a sound, and it sounds like us. Join us to make some noise and invest in TakeAction's organizing at our annual fundraiser featuring headliner jeremy messersmith, performances by members of our Twin Cities United Performers (TCUP) organizing base, and an opening welcome from Brass Solidarity.

🍿 Hospitality: Concessions will be open at the Cedar selling snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages! Seating and dancing space both present, as well as a kid-friendly area.

🎨 Merch: Limited-edition poster, stickers, and surprise merch item will be available for purchase!

TakeAction Minnesota

TakeAction Minnesota is a power-building organization fighting for the direct self-interest of regular Minnesotans. We organize with everyday people – parents, tenants, caregivers, performers, voters – who come from all walks of life. Together, we are building a community of Minnesotans unwilling to accept the status quo and willing to take responsibility for change. We believe that everyone should have what they need, and it is possible.

jeremy messersmith

jeremy messersmithis a Minneapolis-based indie musician with a catalog of catchy folk and alt-rock songs that balance humor and heart. He’s released 6 studio records (most recently: Fox/Coyote), a songbook of ukulele tunes, an ambient EP, and a live album recorded at a bowling alley—but is best known lately for his anti-ICE anthem entitled “F*ck This." His pickleball game is strong.

Robyn Jamner

Robyn Jamner (they/she) is a genderfluid, genrefluid songwriter and poet. They approach songwriting much like the paleontologist they wanted to be as a kid: digging deep and assembling whatever they find. She released her latest EP, Songs for Neighbors, in May 2026 as a tribute to the Twin Cities and a way to raise funds for mutual aid. Robyn performs both solo and with their dynamic live band, the Soft Skills. Community is central to Robyn’s work: she collaborates with a wide range of local artists and organizes with Twin Cities United Performers (TCUP) to help make Minnesota the greatest place in the world to be a live performer.

Salty Fears

Salty Fears (He/Him) - The Transexual Terror of The Twin Cities

Salty Fears is a drag artist based out of Minneapolis and originally from Kansas City. Where clowning around meets rage room, you are always bound to feel something when he takes the stage. Salty wants you to know everything is drag, the only power worth respecting is the power of the people, and transexuals rule the earth. Cheers and enjoy the show!

With a welcome from Brass Solidarity.
