The Cedar was founded in 1989 on the belief that music makes a difference. Over the course of three decades, so many audience members and artists have come together to build on that belief. You make The Cedar what it is today: a home for music that values cultural connections, embraces artists from all over the globe, and welcomes all.
We depend on generous supporters like you to keep global music thriving in the heart of Minneapolis. Your donations are invested in people and programming that engage Somali musicians through in-depth residencies, empower local emerging artists as they compose new works, and bring 200+ musicians from around the world to our stage each year.
You can set up a one-time, monthly or annual donation below. Thank you!
