The Cedar has a non-refundable ticket policy, except for canceled, postponed, or rescheduled shows. This is standard in our industry, and we appreciate your understanding. Please review these options if you are unable to use your tickets.
Please note that all ticket modification options (donate, transfer, refund) only apply to purchases made through Etix or Eventbrite online, over the phone with Etix or staff at The Cedar, or in person at The Cedar. Their procedures are separate and may be different.
At The Cedar, we recognize that things happen. In the case of personal emergencies prior to a show, unmet expectations or serious issues at a show, or accessibility concerns following a show, please contact tickets@thecedar.org. We will work with folks on a case-by-case basis to find a solution. Below are some scenarios with predetermined outcomes to help you determine whether or not your refund request will be considered.
Lineup change: If The Cedar provides advance notice (before showtime) of a lineup change, refund requests as a result of a lineup change will not be considered.
Accessibility concern: If The Cedar is completely unable to provide any reasonable accommodation for an accessibility concern due to capacity limitations or staffing, we will consider a refund if requested. Please note that we do request folks request their accessibility accommodations in advance, and that there is a cap of 50 seats available for sold-out standing shows.
Patron is asked to leave: As noted when buying tickets to shows online and in all email confirmations, all members of The Cedar community must abide by our Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to deny any person who violates our Code of Conduct the privilege of performing at or attending current or future The Cedar Cultural Center produced events. If a patron is asked to leave an event, refund requests will be reviewed by The Cedar’s team, including staff involved in the specific situation. In these cases, refunds are not guaranteed.
Not for the website, but for us:
Death of ticket holder - refund
Personal situation that is unexplained - remind of other options - IF patron follow up - possible refund
Personal situation that is explained and deemed serious - remind of other options - IF patron follow up - refund
