ABOUT THIS SHOW
Piñata Records presents a Betty Won't Album Release Party ;)
TROUBLE, the premiere LP from Minneapolis' own twang rockers BETTY WON'T has been in the slow cooker long enough ! A local dish, totally created through massive collaboration all across our city -- now with the flavors melded, the wax melted, it's time to turn the lights down and have a taste. Recorded in N.E. at Soft Cult Studio, mastered by Mother of all Music in midtown, & pressed by our very own Outta Wax, TROUBLE is without doubt a plate full of Minnesota Rock n' Roll. In honor of such a high fidelity affair we're packing the Cedar stage full of rhythmic enticement. With support from all around sweethearts Little Fevers, Stolyette, & Makin' Out, there's surely a melody or a harmony out there on the dance floor for us all.
Be able to say you were there the night Betty Won't unleashed their first batch of hits on vinyl & please join us for the celebration & unveiling of an instant westbank classic.
Betty Won't
With a skip in their step and a tear in their eyes, this rowdy Minneapolis-based quintet has played from Frisco to Brooklyn, delivering a twangy, blues-soaked rock and roll wherever folks will have them. The country band at your punk show or the punk band at the honkytonk this versatile group of professional musicians will certainly have the most fun at any show.

Makin' Out
Makin’ Out is a four piece band fronted by singer/songwriter Caitlin Angelica. Formed in early 2023 during the harsh, but creatively fertile Minneapolis winter, the band was a long-desired avenue for Angelica to flesh out and expand a repertoire of unheard material written on acoustic guitar. Taking equal inspiration from folk and country as well as pop punk and region rock, the band blends these influences, and becomes more than the sum of its parts, offering a truly refreshing and emotionally evocative take on the traditional rock format.

Stolyette
StoLyette is Ben Clark, Mitch Miller, Ryan Mach, and Irene Ruderman Clark. StoLyette features a pitch shifting, repeating, layered bass, vocals in foreign languages, and drums. In particular, these dynamic soundscapes mixed with an expressive vocal approach presented mostly in Russian provide the listener room to interpret and reconstruct the meaning of each composition to reflect more personally the listener’s own experience and state. Their latest record, “Ghost Fox 2020” is out now on all streaming platforms.

Little Fevers
Little Fevers is a four piece rock pop band born out of Twin Cities mainstays Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles.
