ABOUT THIS SHOW

Originally on a career path towards social work, Olive Klug utilizes their gifts for singing and storytelling as a means to accomplish lifelong goals of inspiring emotional catharsis and social change in their audiences. Influenced by artists from Joni Mitchell to Kimya Dawson, Olive’s unfiltered vulnerability is at the forefront of every song. Whether they’re discussing the complexities of the country’s politics or of grieving a relationship, their music conveys this sense of very outwardly figuring things out, which is what gives their music such a sense of communion. Olive’s combination of talents and traits have found them in affinity with a list of touring partners that include The Wood Brothers, I’m With Her, Willi Carlisle, John Craigie and the aforementioned Dawson. They are also a favorite on stage in the festival communities of Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Calgary Folk Festival, Mariposa Folk Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Pickathon, Kerrville Folk Festival, and Back Porch Festival.

Olive klug

While only a relatively short time since singer-songwriter Olive Klug has fully pursued the nontraditional life of a touring musician, their sophomore album Lost Dog finds them contemplating a propensity for adventure no matter what avenue of love and loss it leads down. Although still very young, on Lost Dog Klug artfully addresses “aging as a neurodivergent free spirit” on the road with an unarguably talented ability to fearlessly voice deeply honest emotions through captivating storytelling.

anni xo

anni xo (they/them) is a sapphic soft pop artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Drawing inspiration from Boygenius, Dora Jar, and Devon Again, anni's music is a captivating fusion of alternative songwriting and folk stylings.

Since 2023, anni has been joined on stage by a talented group of musicians, including Maddie Thies (any pronouns) on bass and backing vocals, Riley Jacobson (he/him) on electric guitar, Hunter SinClair Hawthorne (he/him) on keys and Aurelio Sandoval Pogatshnik (he/him) on drums. Together, they create a goofy and lighthearted, yet meaningful live experience. As Anika Best from MPR said in a 2026 article about the band, “the group can’t help but make each other laugh, especially when it’s related to anni’s contagious excitement and inspiration.”

anni’s discography currently contains two EP’s, “allergic to dogs” (2023) and “what’s become of us” (2025) as well as one full length album, “SOMETHING PROFOUND” (2025).
